7-segment display

Seven LED bars form digits from 0 to 9. We light only the bars needed for each digit. A small dot helps display decimal numbers.

Give every bar and the dot its own current-limiting resistor. Check the pinout before connecting the display.

At SparkVille station, the display counts down to the next train. Even the impatient steam engine must wait for zero!
